My name is Pat Watson and I am passionate about knitting.

What I would really like to do, via this website, is encourage everyone, young and old, to pick up some knitting needles and yarn and simply have a go at making something.  

To this end, I decided to design a garment that would be ultra easy for anyone to make.   No fancy stitches, no increasing or decreasing, not even a 'purl' stitch! 

Just a series of simple garter stitch squares that can be stitched together to make lovely items to wear, use, or make a hand-made gift of!
